A New Year's Greeting {cute photo!}

Sorry, couldn't get Baby T to smile - so Baby E made up for both of them! Wishing you a great new year ahead - with whatever comes at you. May you handle life's trials and joy with grace, hope, and love!

I want to make resolutions, but I'm not going to. I never really understood it anyway. If there is something we want to improve, we shouldn't have to wait until the New Year to do it! Won't you agree?

There are a lot of things I aim for - less clutter, more organization, less raising of my voice, more gentle discipline, less late bedtimes, more sleep. But I'm not going to suddenly do all these things - these are a work in progress and always have been. It's a daily thing and we are always trying to improve in many areas of life.

This may be the year Eco-Babyz takes on a different role - in what ways I'm not even sure yet. But I know that my income earning work at AnaB Social and V & A Photography helps pay the bills better, and we need all the help we can get right now. Eco-Babyz isn't going anywhere, but it may become more related to what we do around here every day - homeschooling, cooking, traveling - as I have no time to create more content on top of what we already do. :) We'll still have occasional reviews and giveaways, but they'll be more rare and awesome. Plus reviews of physical items don't help very much with my attempts to de-clutter, ahem.

I would love to hear from you! I rarely do. It really helps to know someone is reading and I thank all of you that leave comments!

What are your hopes for 2014? What's your family up to?

What would you like to see more of at Eco-Babyz?

  1. Do what you love. Be yourself! God created you uniquely and you are most happy AND pleasing to Him when you simply are who you are. So ... write about your life and whatever you must enjoy writing about! :-)
    I'd enjoy reading about healthy eating, homeschooling, and your spiritual journey.

    1. Thank you for your comment Heidi! It really means a lot to me :) Absolutely, the best is to just follow what you love and what brings you joy - it's contagious. Writing is always best when it is naturally inspired!

  2. I love your blog and always enjoy what I find on it. To be honest, I'd like to see less reviews/giveaways and more content on the things your passionate about and want to share. I love the occasional giveaway, but to many reviews and giveaways can be overwhelming. Cheers and best wishes for the new year!

    1. Great, because that's what I really want too :) I'm still doing some giveaways here and there. Now I just need to find the time to blog about all the things I love - homeschooling, recipes, photography... :)
