Babyganics Teething Pods Review {Sponsor Highlight}

Parents of teething infants rejoice! Our next sponsor is BabyGanics and they sent some Benzocaine Free Gel Teething Pods for us to review and give away. At first I wasn't sure we would get a chance to try them before I actually wrote the review. But sure enough, Baby T had a major teething episode last night (lots of drool, shoving hands into mouth, tugging at ears, unable to sleep). I was excited I had something new to try!  We've had trouble finding something natural that works for him. Most of all I was excited about the ingredients that sound like they are straight from my own kitchen. Three ingredients! That's IT! Coconut oil, clove oil, and stevia. We have clove oil at home for my husband's occasional tooth pain. Genius, why didn't anyone think of this before for teething?

So Baby E was asleep already, and Baby T who normally has no trouble getting to sleep, just wouldn't stop chewing on his hands and being really fussy. I took him downstairs, opened one of the teething pods, applied some gel with the enclosed q-tips. I think he rather enjoyed it (sweet stevia), then I think the numbing sensation made him make funny faces! He was confused. It gave him immediate teething relief. I was really impressed! About ten minutes later he fell asleep and had a very good night, sleeping even more soundly than normal. At $6.99 for 10 single use pods, I say it is very well worth it. It is something I must have in my diaper bag now at all times and it is definitely a must have item for our spring road trip! (our hotel room neighbors will be able to  sleep soundly at night now). The only things I would change about this product is perhaps a slightly lower price and making the pods/q-tips somehow resealable.

I had no idea BabyGanics expanded their line, perhaps because I don't even go shopping anymore or to big box baby stores. Last time I heard of BabyGanics was more than three years ago when I bought my first natural cleaner from them at Babie R Us while pregnant with my daughter. I'm glad to see they are going in the right direction with their products! I was also excited to see they offer fluoride free kids toothpaste. Looks yummy...
