PSG: Welstar Organic Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

As pregnant moms we should take extra care in what we put on our bodies. Today, most conventional skin care products have dozens and hundreds of chemicals in them that are linked to everything from cancer to reproductive problems. What we use can and does affect our health and the health of the unborn baby.

Welstar makes an extensive line of natural and organic skin care products from the purest ingredients. Their offering of mother and baby skin care includes air sprays, mommy's belly butter, cranky baby tummy rub, bubble bath, baby oil, baby powder, teething oil, and sleep time cream. There is absolutely nothing synthetic, unpronounceable, or petroleum derived in all the products they make!

We received a set of Mommy's Belly Butter, Wishing Star Sleep Time Cream, Baby Fresh Diaper Change Air Spray, and Pest Away Bug Off Spray for review. We've been using the belly butter following showers, my two and a half year old has been a great helper. We have a little ritual when after showering she helps me rub the butter on the baby belly! So adorable... The butter comes in a little tub, goes on smooth (thought you may need to warm it with your fingers a little if it is cold), it absorbs into the skin fairly quickly - in about an hour. I usually put it on before bed, so that doesn't bother me. It has a light, unobtrusive scent. Best of all, these are the ingredients: apricot kernel oil, coconut oil, coconut butter, beeswax, comfrey, calendula, vitamin E and love.

We have also tried the Pest Away Bug Off spray on a couple of occasions. It does have a very strong lemongrass, eucalyptus, and citronella - but in turn leaves you bite free. Last thing you want while pregnant is to be bitten all over or use toxic DEET sprays (pesticides)!

The Baby Fresh Diaper Change Air Spray is just what I needed. We cloth diaper, and while we've found a system that works and keeps our house stink free, I definitely need something to freshen air in the laundry hall after I put the diapers in the wash. This spray has a very pleasant smell and I have the peace of mind that it isn't toxic.

I have yet to try the Wishing Star Sleep Time Cream - perhaps on myself! I have been having trouble staying sleep at night during this pregnancy, if something wakes me up (my toddler), I can't fall back asleep. I'm sure it will come in handy with a newborn as well. The soothing scent of essential oils is very calming.

One Eco-Babyz reader will be blessed with the Pregnancy Summertime Survival Package, includes Mommy's Belly Butter, Pest Away Bug Off Spray, and Wishing Star Sleep Time Cream ($56.85 value)!
