Mom Sends the Msg

Most of us have done this, I know. It is no secret that as mothers we are often distracted on the road. Having to coordinate school and daycare drop offs, soccer practice, and piano lessons all while driving is no easy task. We are often forced to pick up the phone while at the wheel under certain circumstances. What we often don't realize is that this type of behavior behind the wheel can cost us our life, the life of our child, or the life of others on the road. Talking on the phone while driving significantly impairs you response time. Texting though is an even bigger issue. While we can all point the finger at teenagers, we are ultimately the ones setting an example.

So please join mothers all over the country who are taking the pledge to make the roads safer by being one less. One less mother being distracted on the road. No matter how important a phone call or message, life has a higher value and we choose to protect it.
