Our Valentine's Breakfast

Just for fun I wanted to make a 'heart' themed breakfast for the kids - this isn't a recipe, just a way for me to document how fun this is to make with them so that when they are all grown up I can reminisce of these fabulous days when they were so little!

Kids and cutting things out. I don't know, they just love anything to do with cutting shapes! We used a heart cookie cutter to cut out hearts in the sprouted bread (store bought!). Then just put it on the skillet, egg in the middle, sprinkled with cheese. Cover for 5 minutes, then flip and toast another 3 minutes. They love this for breakfast!

Someday soon I will teach Baby E to make this herself. She's five, but it's time to teach her some easy meals and maybe have her make breakfast once a week, lunch once a week, and dinner once a week!?

Those smiles, I'm going to miss them so much. They say "The days are long but the years are short" - but to me right now everything seems short, days, years, weeks, just flying and flying and I can't stop it. Please stay little, as long as possible! Don't grow up so fast!
