Omaiki All-in-One Cloth Diaper Review {Giveaway Soon!}

I recently received a pleasant surprise in the mail, an all-in-one cloth diaper from a brand I have never heard of. As a family that has tried nearly every cloth diaper brand that exists, it got me very curious. It also seemed as if they read my mind that I was fed up with pocket diapers (stuffing and un-stuffing them for almost 4 years just got old) and wanted to switch the whole stash to AIOs and fitteds!

Although I am a huge fan of snaps, I was excited at the prospect of some aplix because 15 month old Baby T has a thing for running away while I change his diaper. This one definitely makes it easy, and if you're looking for the closest thing to disposables for ease of use - this may be the diaper for your baby. It comes in both aplix and snaps for those that prefer the latter.

It is a one-size diaper, so there is no need to spend more money on extra sizes. It is waterproof with laminated polyurethane (PUL) cover and two soakers, one attached and one snapped in which is removable. There is a stay dry layer on the top soaker with 70% bamboo viscose and 30% organic cotton underneath for absorption.

We love the fit and ease of use for this AIO cloth diaper, oh - and the adorable print is a hit with Baby T. I had put it on him on the largest setting, now after looking at the pictures I think I could have snapped the rise down one row of snaps for an even more trim fit.

Although the diaper hasn't reached full absorbency yet as we only washed it three times so far, it has been perfect for daytime use. It lasts quite a while (3-4 hours) without leaks. I love the style of the diaper, the fact that I don't have to look for inserts and match it up with a shell/pocket. You can see below that the construction is pretty simple, it is highly effective.

Omaiki diapers are made in Canada and they have just debuted 7 new prints for the AIO diaper. They also create some super adorable newborn Mini-O AIO diapers, potty training pants, and diaper covers. The one-size AIO retails for $30 for the prints and $28.50 for solid colors. Right now they have a 5 + 1 promotion going on, buy 5 diapers, get one free. You get one free diaper for every 5 you buy, so if you get 20 diapers, you'll get 4 free ones.
