Welcome Baby: Babasling Review & Giveaway (Worldwide, 2 winners) {CLOSED}

I cannot wait to cuddle with my little one, just two more months! One of my favorite ways to stay close to a newborn is to wear them. As any mom, I like baby wearing solutions that are easy and intuitive. I had the opportunity to review theBabaSling®, my first sling style carrier. Unlike wrap style baby carriers I have tried before, this one only takes a second to put on and four seconds to place the baby in.

You see, this isn't just a basic baby sling. It has these awesome soft padded edges to support and cushion the baby, the shoulder is padded for your comfort as well, and it is easily adjustable. Now both you and your spouse can wear the same sling, you don't need two different sizes! Any caregivers and grandparents can use it as well since it is so easily adjustable. It is also so much more comfortable than the average baby sling that has no padding of any sort.

 theBabaSling® can be worn in five positions for babies from 4.5 lbs to 33 lbs. Yes, I've tried wearing my toddler in it who weighs 26 pounds! Since I'm seven months pregnant I can't say it was exactly comfortable with her on my hip. She sure loved it! At this point of course she is a little too old for that, she prefers walking and running around. But I could definitely see wearing her in it until she was 18 months old, when she was less independent and a little more clingy. I can actually partially attribute her current independence and confidence as a toddler to baby wearing when she was an infant. This fall and winter I'll be wearing our infant in it!

I love how compact it is and fairly simple to use. It only takes a few seconds to figure out how the fabric and the buckle work the first time you use it, then you're always ready to go. It fits neatly in a little bag and takes up about the same space as two cloth diapers in the diaper bag. Perhaps my only concern about using this carrier and any sling style carrier is having the weight of the baby on one shoulder, it's not really something you can wear for an extended period of time in my opinion (you can always alternate shoulders of course!). It's great for quick daily errands and general cuddling when you're not constantly walking around, at least that's probably how I will mostly be using it.

Two of you will win theBabaSling® of your choice ($64 value each)! Giveaway open Worldwide!
