GreenShield Organic Review

In our family we focus on eating healthy and organic, for cleaning I can get by with basics like vinegar and baking soda. But when I discovered there is a USDA certified organic cleaning product line, I just had to feed my curiosity! Organic cleaners, what?

I was curious to say the least and we got to try their Bathroom Cleaner, Laundry Detergent and Pouches, and Surface Wipes. I haven't gotten to the wipes yet, mainly because the bathroom cleaner did all the cleaning I needed. The wipes are perfect for travel with a toddler so I'll save them for that!

I love when my products clean well, have no hazardous chemicals, and don't stink. GreenShield passed the test on that for sure. The Bathroom Cleaner has a slight vinegar-like smell, but definitely not as strong as vinegar itself. Most importantly, it left my bathroom spotless - results is what we all want! The laundry detergent worked really well on all laundry and took stains out with the pre-treat. I tried GreenShield Free & Clear Laundry Detergent on the cloth diapers only once, it didn't really seem to work well because I don't think I used enough detergent. It rinses out of the cloth diapers well, left no residue, so I think I might have underestimated how much is needed. Perhaps a soak would have helped too. I'll have to test it some more.

Another thing I love about GreenShield Organic? Very generous package sizing, unlike many Eco-friendly cleaning products.

Whether or not you use natural cleaning products yet, I highly recommend it - especially if you have children because according to the EPA up to 85% of our exposure to pesticides is from indoor sources! Yes, that includes toxic cleaners.

  1. Hi! Have you tried this with Cloth Diapering at all? If so, what are your opinions on it?
