Yoreganics Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

I share a lot in common with Kim, the owner of Yoreganics. Not only are we both mothers, but we are also Interior Designers and green and simple living advocates. I am excited to have tried her wonderful line of natural cleaning products. I think Yoreganics is best described by their tagline "Yoreganics is a reflection of the days of yore, long ago, when life was simple and cleaning was natural."

Ease of use: I've heard a lot about soap nuts and couldn't wait to try them for the first time. I was skeptical of the whole concept. I had a medium load of my daughter's clothing, about half of it was stained! So I used the Yoreganics Stain Remover and sprayed all the stains, some I didn't even rub in, I just sprayed and let it sit for a few minutes. I was thinking "this better work because I don't want these stains to set!" I threw a little bag of 5 soap nuts in a warm water wash, put in the dirty laundry, and let it do its magic. With the exception of a couple of old stubborn stains, all the new ones came out. That includes vomit from when she was sick, orange juice, fresh tomatoes, bananas, carrots, etc.

Their facial bars are equally amazing. So easy on the skin, nourishing and rich. They also have a foaming soap and lip balm for your organic body care needs.

Quality & Value: I love the handmade and personal look and feel of all the Yoreganics products. All the items are of very high quality and actually USDA organic. No need to worry when you have these around a toddler. My daughter actually helped me spray the stain remover and she was fascinated with soap nuts. An 85 load bag of soap nuts costs $12.99, which is a great deal for an organic laundry solution. I received an 8 oz stain remover, they sell a sample size for $3.99 and a 16 oz for $14.99. That's a little pricier, but I do love the proven results as I mentioned above.

How is this green: Certified organic is about as green as you can get for cleaning and skincare products. Supporting a small, local company that makes small batches of quality products is also a plus!

Who Would You Recommend this to? Recommended for people with allergies and chemical sensitivities. Households with babies and small children, or anyone willing to live a little greener without supporting petroleum based chemical cleaning products.

One Eco-Babyz reader will win the Yoreganics trio sampler!
