As fall nears its peak and we are looking forward to winter, the general public is weary of the momentum gained by the swine flu. But, wait a second, rewind... How many confirmed cases are there? Who's counting? We should ask: "who isn't counting?" It turns out things are not cut and dry here and gray zones abound when it comes to the information that the CDC presents the public. A three-month-long investigation by CBS News, released earlier this week that included state-by-state test results, revealed an 80 to 98% error margin on the actual number of swine flu cases.
